Replace old wooden window with new UVPC window

HI.
My son has just bought his 1st house but one of the windows is not uvpc..the rest have ben replaced.
He has asked me to fit a new one ...it is an upstairs bedroom window.
Can this be done from the inside of the house or has it got to be done from the outside.
What are the key steps to take and what are the things to avoid.
Any help will be really usefull.

Yes you can, done many windows from inside, rope the area off down below encase of falling objects and take out the dg units out for light work plus sealant round the frame before fitting dg units back in
