Hi

This stop tap doesn't seal any more. It's 20mm MDPE to 15mm copper, brass spindle and handle but the nuts appear to be some sort of black plastic. Any idea what tap it could be?

Would you repair or replace? If repair is it just like fixing a basin tap? Will it use a standard 1/2 inch washer and what's the chance of me needing a re seating tool?

If replace, I'd rather use a full bore lever valve. To avoid a separate reducer (space limitations) , do you know of any that would go from 20mm to 15mm eg with a reducing insert?

Thanks

Edit: It looks like Philmac do a 20mm lever valve and a 20mm to 15mm reducer. Not cheap though.

If it's not functioning properly then get it replaced. Sods law will be that you need it to work at the worst possible time.
