Replace Shingles under ac/heat combo unit

Do you use a Hydraulic jack to lift the ac/heat's Lower support frame, then put 30lb felt, then the shingles repeat unit lift for upper frame and repeat?

Overlap 12" on vertical seams? horizontal 4" 5/12 pitch?
Appreciate any advise.

You may not be aware but? you have joined a United Kingdom DIT advise site.

Hence you have had no meaningful replies, we do not use Shingles that often, as for an A/C unit? as I live on the coast in Scotland, I simply do not need such a device. Or to be precise I may have a call for one a couple of days per year? not this year even in the car my A/C has only been on a few times.

Suggest you Google for an American DIY site?
