Replace stopcock with ball valve?

Would appreciate opinions...

I'd like to replace some old (brass?) stopcock valves on my cold water tank outlets with Peglar stainless steel full bore ball valves (quarter turn lever handles, WRAS approved).

Because I've never seen or heard of this being done, I'm wary. Are there any reasons why I shouldn't fit them? Thanks.

Go for it, it's all I use now, gate valves are old hat

Peglar stainless steel full bore ball valves (quarter turn lever handles, WRAS approved).

Pegler QT lever valves are chrome on brass, not stainless steel.
