Hello.

I’d like to replace the kitchen upvc window handle shown below.

I was looking for something like the ERA Maxim Universal Espag Window Handle from Toolstation (55251) https://www.toolstation.com/era-maxim-universal-espag-window-handle/p55251

This handle (and all the others I’ve seen) have 2 fixing screws at 43mm centres.

However the existing handle appears to have just one screw (on the right hand side of the photo) while the left hand side has 2 spring locking mechanisms to secure the handle in the closed position.

Please can somebody advise a suitable replacement handle?

Thank you

Davey

Press the spring locking mechanisms in while turning the back plate and it should expose the two screws

Ahhhh what I thought was a screw on the right hand side is just for decoration!!!

I pushed the spring locking mechanisms in, turned the front of the base plate and yes - 2 fixing screws hidden underneath!!!

The screws also appear to be 43mm centres! Please could you confirm if the ERA Maxim Universal I linked to earlier would be a suitable replacement?

Or is there a more suitable one available?

Thank you very much for your help.

Kind regards

Davey
