Hi.
I have a toilet that was randomly hissing water out from the inlet valve every 10 minutes or so.

Took the rubber seal out to clean it and it disintegrated in my hands.

So I've put a new one in, but now when I turn the water on the cistern will not stop filling.

I can't clearly see where the water is coming from as it doesn't seem to be from the valve.

Any ideas what I could look at before calling someone out?

It's a Siamp system.

Is the replacement seal the correct one ,and fitted properly ?
As advised above , fitting a complete new valve would be best .

Thanks both.

I guess I'll replace the whole thing. The seal cost me a fiver and it looks like I could replace the whole thing for £20.
