Replacement consumer unit

MICC... just read up on it, not sure if I should feel pleased or not! I guess it's a good thing, the other flats in the property are similar and I believe it was all done at the same time for the Council (ex-Local Authority property).

Not sure how/where an isolator would be fitted, unless the consumer unit was moved/replaced at the the same time now, would anyone agree? Isolator (which I am keen on) can go where the consumer unit at at the moment. New Consumer unit can then go above it all? Good plan?
 
there may be room under the trunking to fit the isolator.
from the meter to the isolator then from the isolator to the board.

if the sparky concentrates on installing the isolator, then when the DNO come back they can re-anergise it and the sparky can do the board at his leasure then..
