I currently have Aurora downlights that are starting to flicker which I believe the transformer is on the way out, they are coming up for 16 years old.
I want to replace them with new led downlights but looking online there appears to be very few that have a plasterboard opening of 70mm.
Is the electrician able to cut out a larger hole easily? With the drill bit not having any board to centre on?
Any recommendations for brands? I have some led Aurora downlights that were fitted at a later date so maybe go with them again.
I feel the main issue is the plaster cut out size.
