Hi,
I've got this old Silavent extractor fan on the bathroom wall. Can't see an exact model but it appears to have 100mm ducting.

The vent has an external cheap looking backdraught gravity shutter which is very inaccessible and constantly getting stuck open so we get a howling gale coming directly in the vent when it's windy. (You can see daylight looking through the fan blades at the moment)

To cut down on this draught my idea was to replace this Silavent fan with one with an integral backdraught shutter so the state of the external shutter will not matter.
It's just a simple on/off fan connected to it's own switch - doesn't come on with the light switch.

Would anyone be able to advise of a type of extractor that has backdraft shutters built-in, but would be easy to retrofit with my very modest DIYing abilities? I can deal with drilling new fixing points, simple wiring - but I don't want to get into changing the size of the hole in the wall etc.

The Manrose QF100S appears to look like it might be simple to fit to the same hole and apparently is "Complete with integral backdraught shutters"?
Or is there a better way to deal with this backdraught problem?
