Hi, I just got a quote from Banham for a new front (inner) door.
I need a solid-core door with good locks, london/birmingham bar, hinge bolts etc.

However, they have quoted me nearly £1500!

Does anyone know of a reputable company in London who can make my door thiefproof (for the average attempts to kick a door in) without it costing quite so much?

Thanks!

Are they fitting you a new door?

All you need is a latch type lock and mortice lock. With 3 -100mm hinges and hinge bolts. You can add a London and brum bar. Don't forget the spy hole. You could also fit an intercom and security flood light with security camera.

Please note: no door is 100% safe. Just watch road wars, they always get in.
