Hi all,
I have a small problem which is going to become a big problem if this cold snap carries on..

I have replaced a small 1m K1 radiator in the main hallway to the house with a large 2m K2, the original pipework being extended with what i thought would be a simple job.

The new radiator only get luke warm on full opening of the TRV and lockshield, whilst a similar sized radiator in the living room, once performing blisteringly hot is now suffering the same fate .....

I run a 10mm microbore system, how this hangs together in more detail I havent checked.

I am wondering if the new radiator's old pipework is spurred of the living room one for a feed in rather connection of the main 22mm pipework maybe?

Any thoughts appreciated..

thanks

If I was installing what I assume is a 600x2000K2 I would do it in 15mm, directly from the main 22mm heating F&R with no other rads teed in.

Have you tried turning all your other rads off yet and just leaving the problematic one(s) open?...Programmer needs to be on heating only when you try this and also check that your pump is on it's max setting.

Why such a big radiator?...
