The tube below requires replacing but I’m not quite sure if there’s a low voltage equivalent available or indeed what details I need to order online. The tube is 400mm long, very thin but can’t see a 5 or 8 number and don’t even know if either of theses two digits is required.Help!

Fluorescent tubes do not have a voltage as such. The control gear does, so that tube, could be used in a caravan with 12 volts (extra low voltage) or with a 230 volt supply (low voltage).

Fluorescent has been discontinued, so in the main we are forced to use LED, but need to know more, to advise on a replacement.

It looks maybe a 13watt T5, colour warm white tube (3000k) though i think there longer at 500mm +

If its 400mm then it's maybe a 13watt T4 warm white tube.
The fittings these fit tend to fail before the tube, so a new tube may not even work, unlikely there's a led replacement lamp
Maybe measure the diameter and distance between the 2 pins at one end

Thanks for your reply Harry B, will do that from Screwfix but am unsure of the LED wattage equivalent to the 13w original fitting.

Generally, they suggest that florescent is broadly similar wattage, for similar light output, to LED. So try to find a 10w LED.

Sure it's 400mm? 410 mm seems a commonplace length if including pins... and may find more results for old but new stocks.

and
https://www.lamps2udirect.com/fluor...-pins-8khrs-fluorescent-tube-pre-order/151593 suggests circa 780 lumens (when new, brightness drops with age).

May be an idea to use that Lumens number or thereabouts when selecting a LED replacement, ignoring the Watts consumed to produce the light output.

Colour temperature will matter if trying to match other light sources nearby... that may need other fittings changed as well?
