Complements of the season one and all,

Following my previous threads relating to a noise' from the external sounder when the mains is active, I have decided to replace the Accenta Gen4 Mini panel with a 'new' one from an eBay seller. it is of course, old and no longer made, but it is unused.

Will just wire the same as the existing but intend to add an internal 'sound bomb' to make it uncomfortable for any intruders.

The one I have has only two cables; the engineer manual suggests connecting to the speaker will create any countdown sounds from the panel. But the manual also suggest connecting to the bell output so the sound bomb only works if/when the external sounder activates. I assume it is the panel connections, B and D?

Many thanks

There is a big difference between a soundbomb/sounder and a speaker.
Soundbombs and the such use 12vdc, derived from the sounder circuit, speakers are millivolts and are connected to speaker terminals.
Put a sounder into a speaker connection and not much will happen, put a speaker into a sounder connection-speaker melts.
