Hi

We are looking to replace our battered by the wind wooden panels with new stronger ones

trouble is - they are 6ft high and need to be slotted into large concrete posts ( slightly larger than 6 ft)

we have considered lifting them but they are extremely heavy, and the top of the panel is almost 13ft in the air when trying to slot them into the posts

So has anyone any advice on how we can do this without harming ourselfs - we have considered a scaffolding platform or some type of A frame but not sure how/if either would work

thanks in advance for any help / advice

Ian

perhaps you could do it whilst balancing on two pennyfarthings.

I've just done some on my own. I've got some building trestles with the planks about 4' above ground. I screwed a handle on the centre vertical batten just above half-way and I could lift the panel myself and slot it into posts. Do check the measurements first because sometimes the slats stick out a bit.
