Replacing a 552 Baxi back boiler to take newer inset fire???

To carry on from where i left off i am having a Vokera HE fitted next week.

Well that is after the rerouting of the gas from my front porch through the hall ceiling up into the floor boards into a bedroom along the landing to the airing cupboard in the back bedroom....i am dreading it to be honest  .

Found a great engineer through recommendation and am happy with his quote and the confidence he has given me as it has been a dilemma to say the least.

The question i have, though he did go over it but just need to clarify as my head is battered lol is, i have an electric shower in my en-suite so do i still need to keep my cold water tank in the loft or can it be connected to the cold main pipe?
Would really like to get rid of it if the tank if it is feasible to free up space.

Also Is the Vokera HE a good choice?

My house is a 4 bed semi with 7 rads, en-suite shower wc and separate bathroom.

Thank you for your expert opinions once again.
