Hi all,

Been asked to change the cartridge of a ceramic disc tap but the cust doesn't know the make / model. Only markings on the tap are "G1" and a quick (lazy) google search doesn't bring up any obvious manufacturers.

Any tips on identifying taps??

Ta v much!

Change the tap to a recognised brand name, they are incredibly cheap nowadays.

By the time you have farted around looking for a new cartridge, picked up the part, then decided it actually doesn't fit, it's not wrth the hassle.

They were selling Hansgrohe monoblocks the other day in Plumb base for £45
