Hi I've searched for the answer to this question but had no luck so here goes...

I am replacing an electric shower with a shiny new Aqualisa Quartz Digital and need to swap out a couple of tiles that have holes in them. The previous owner of the house kindly left half a box of tiles so I want to replace with the same.

What is the best method for cleanly removing a tile in the middle of a wall?

What is the best method for cleanly removing a tile at the edge of a wall (ie with one edge on a plastic edging strip)?

Any tips for making good?

Many thanks

Jon

i personally favour the clear off the grout around the edges then smash the fooker with a hammer, however, some slightly older , some say wiser, (not many mind!) say clear the grout then use a diamond blade angle grinder on the offending tiles cut a diagonal line through and remove it gently and softly, me i like the smashy smashy option, but its your world!
