Replacing an intermediate light switch

Hi all

I need to replace the light switch on the left with the one on the right.



It is currently wired as in the following photo



Should brown use 1 and 3, with blue in 2 and 4 in the new switch?

Ignore the numbers and wire it exactly the same.

Thanks, initially I wired the cables in to the same numbers (as used in the original switch) and the light wouldn't turn off *blushes*.
