Replacing analogue roomstat with Honeywell CM907; wiring?

Are you replacing an old mechanical thermostat which had only two wires connected? If so, you are correct. The brown goes to A and the Blue to B. The blue wire should really have some red sleeving or insulating tape round it to show that it is the switched live.

The Honeywell instruction were fairly clear but not on what to do with the old neutral.

PS it's worth knowing if the display fails they will replace the part F.O.C.
