Replacing brake disc, Vauxhall Astra.

Hello, I have to replace my front discs on a 1999 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 sxi 16v, petrol. My question is, is there any need for vented discs on this car as I have found some very affordable ones for sale, or should I stick with basic discs which seem to be more expensive.

You will have to fit the same as you take off. I would think the brake caliper would be different for vented disks to allow for the extra width.

Does that not already have vented discs on the front?

Thank you Mursal & Stivino, got her on the axle stands today and the discs are vented, problem resolved, appreciate your time to reply.
