Replacing cartridge in Trevi power shower

Hi, I know this sounds like a really stupid question, but before I replace the on/off cartridge in my power shower do I need to turn the hot & cold water to the shower pump off? The instructions from Trevi don't mention it but perhaps they think it's a no-brainer!! Thanks in advance :)
 
O big yes both hot & cold . also isolate power to pump to be sure without seeing installation. been caught out myself once.
