replacing door handles

i have old victorian door handles fitted on interior doors. i wanted to change all my handles to newer chrome rose handles.

is it just a case of changing the handles over, or will spindals, latches affect this. i wanted to keep all the original latches on

The spindles may be under /over sized slightly but can usually be overcome.

if i have this issue how can i overcome it??

If the spindle is under size it will usually work ok if over sized then can be ground down slightly to fit.Or you can purchase spindle on it's own slightly smaller.
