I asked you a number of important questions. You choose not to answer them or reply to me. Fair enough it is what it is but you've possibly sealed dry rot below your think its fixed floor - and water penetration will continue.

I stained the new boards a couple of times before I varnished the whole floor. I’m very happy with the outcome though. I used Ronseal diamond hard - dark oak.
