replacing floor tiles

I have a small conservatory with 12 inch floor tiles cemented to the floor is it possible to retile over the existing tiles with no fuss any advice would be appreciated.

i say its always my number one option is to remove old tiles first, then start over...

you can tile over them yes, one can assume as they are nice and flat. so no worries there fella. dont forget if you got a step onto the tiles now depending on what size your new tiles are plus adhesive it may be a large step up. (another 15mm in some cases, possibly more)
 
Depends on how well they are fixed. I am with jefoss on this one - I would seriously consider taking them up. If they are fixed well, then you can tile over it. I would was the tiles with sugar soap, key the tiles (scratch them all so the adhesive has something other than the glaze to stick to), and use a single part flexible adhesive. Dependent on manufacturer/type of adhesive, you may need to prime the tiles.

The tiles originally was fitted by me never tiled b4 but i will do what you said and take them up. thankyou
