Hi

Just wondering if this is a job I can do myself? The bottom stair carpet has been damaged and I would just like to replace this - the rest of the stairs are OK. I'm not bothered about getting a 'perfect' match.

I'm used to putting carpets back down as part of my job, but not fitting from scratch. Do you reckon I could do it myself? I can use the old piece as a template. Is this stuff easy to cut?? Any tips for fitting?

Any advice gratefully recieved - as it seems a bit of a waste to get someone in to just do one step!

you will need to glue it back down with spray adhesive or simular. To cut it, score with a knife and then follow up with scissors.

Thanks matty

I think I'll have a go then, as I only need to buy a meter to do the step

Cheers
