Hi everyone was wondering how much labour might cost me, to have my cylinder removed and a new like for like cylinder replaced and the pipework tidied up.

Many thanks Devs

Straight swap cylinder change 1/2 a Day, tidying up pipework- depends on how much and how tidy really

for the cylinder maybe plus materials and labour. What size/type of cylinder do you currenly have? Some unvented cylinders and thermal stores are around the £1000 mark alone.

last one i did was a right b!tch. took me 2 days lots of tarting about...really tight airing cupboard only just fitted in there, took ages to drain and i had to take the door off to get it, i swear the house was built around it.! and the cold feed was right at the back.

£400 for the labour, £260 for the replacement inc immersion heater.
