Hi,

I hope someone can help.

I wish to install new door linings on 1/2 brick walls. I am thinking of just using the Wickes softwood door linings. What is the best way to secure these to the walls? Do I need insert wall plugs into the masonry and then line up the screws to go through the wood? Obviously the linings need to be perfectly plumb and square, so is this a job for a competant DIYer? What is the best way to make sure it is square?

Thanks for any advice you can give

Yes screw into walls and use a level on all timbers.Ensure measurement across each side is the same to avoid twisting.
