Replacing iron guttering

Hi,

Whilst having out house re-rendered I fancy replacing some of the tatty cuttering I've got round my bay window and aso swapping the cast iron down pipes that are cemented into the ground with new black plastic stuff.

I'll be ok with smashing off the old cast iron down pipes but I wondered how I would then link the new piece of plastic pipe into the old iron one?
