Replacing just opening part of window.

The PVC Corner of the opening part of my double glazed window has been snapped off after an attempted break in. Is it possible to just buy the opening window unit? Looks pretty straight forward to screw it into the hinges.

Surely this is a job for your buildings insurer to get sorted? But yes you can effectively change the sash but you'll need to know what make of pvc extrusion the window is made from then find a local window manufacturer that uses that same profile and approach them and discuss between yourselves what measurements they require. If you speak with the insurer they'll probably send out a contractor quite possibly Evander VPS who will make an assessment whether they can repair the damage, if too severe then they'll replace the complete window and not faff about changing just the sash
