We are replacing the old lead supply pipe and wonder if doing so would require any adjustment of a combi? other than maybe upping the hot water slightly to maintain temp of the increased flow rate?

Yes. Call your local gas man and request a combi lead adjustment.

Jeez, you would think I was asking where to buy tartan paint on the painting and decorating forum.

Was it really that much of a daft question?
