Replacing Lifestyle ETS1 with Honeywell T4R Wireless Programmable

Hi all. As per title looking to update old school stat with programmable wireless version. Pics below.

The old stat has 1 L, 2 switched live, 3 Earth, 4 Neutral

So looks like I should connect L to the left hand L on the new unit, switched live to B, Earth to Earth and Neutral to Neutral. And also link the right hand Live to A.

Can some one kindly confirm? Surprised the link isnt built in - but maybe thats cos for combi the link isnt required? thanks in advance!

The link isn't built in because some boilers use 24v for their control circuits, so linking them to 230V wouldn't be a good idea.

As yours is 230V you need the link between L and A. Your other assumptions are correct.

1 L = L
2 SL = B
3 E = E (isolate if not required)
4 N = N

If you have an existing programmer / timeswitch for the central heating somewhere, that would now need to be set to be permanently 'on' 24/7 to keep the new receiver box permanently powered up. All central heating control would then be via the new programmable thermostat.
