Hi,
My MF100S bathroom extractor suddenly stopped working and I decided to replace it with MF100T using the same wiring light switch connections, means using switched live and neutral wires. I also used a small piece of wire to connect live and switched live port, (from right hand side of the circuit board), together but it is still not working. I am not using a timer. In MF100T there are three port connections, and I connected live and switched live ports from right to left and neutral on the left hand side. Could you please help? Somewhere, I read, the JP1 cap needs to be removed, is the ok? Thanks

The primary difference between the Manrose
MF100Sand the MF100T fans is the control method: the MF100S is a standard model, while the MF100T includes a built-in adjustable run-on timer.
To make it work it’s simply to wire as you have done with the switched live and perm live terminals connected together.
As above, you need a two probe voltage tester to ensure that the neutral and live connections are there and working properly.

It is not necessary to remove any components. You won’t be able to return it if it’s faulty.
