replacing misted units

hi all
I have a large window made up of 1 fixed pane and 1 opening, each one approx 4' x 4'.
Both units are misted and need replacing but I am getting quotes of £300 + to replace. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor and the units can only be replaced from the outside. window is aluminium, about 20 yrs old.
It seems to me that I would prob get a new window for not a lot more.
Does £300 seem excessive for just replacing the units, not the window?
