Just as important as the quality of the boiler is the quality of the install, nice clean pipework and flushing out all of the flux, decent radiator valves, drainoffs, boiler where it is easy to work on, decent controls and adequate gas supply are also very important... You could have the best boiler in the world and if it wasn't installed well, then it just wouldn't last.

I like ATAGs but if your installer isn't familiar with them, then you probably wouldn't get the best out of it

A manufacturer making boilers which break down a lot need a huge engineer team.

Those selling fewer and more reliable boilers don't need many at all!
