I want to replace my old style bathroom radiator which is a combined valve radiator with a nice new towel rail but the towel rail is designed to have connections at both ends is there any way of fitting this without changing the pipework i.e blocking one end off and just buying another combined valve.

Not really sure what you are trying to say, can you find some pictures to post?

I think I know what you mean! The combined type valves never really caught on. I think they were ususlly for a 3/4" bsp hole in the "radiator", hwereas most towel rails are now 1/2" bsp (which actually measures about 3/4" across just to be confusing). Certainly the reasonably priced ones. So expect to replumb.
