Is it ok to remove the pipe from the middle section branch of a speedfit tee. And push a new piece in. I am wanting to swap it from plastic to copper pipe.
Thanks

Yes - just make sure the copper deburred properly/cut with a pipeslice and if you have silicone grease then the lightest touch of that on the pipe will help it fit and lubricate the seal

Thanks I took it out and put copper in. After cutting with a pipe slice. Seems ok. However I didn't lubricate the seal.

if it fitted in ok then I wouldn't worry about, I just do it as a matter of course now as the older seals used to stick a little if they have been in there a long time and leave a black ring on the pipe.
