Hello
I’ve an old shed that has three of these hinges on the outside of both doors (open outwards) which have seized up and slowly destroying the wood they are affixed to.
Any suggestions on how best to twice without making it worse?
Thanks

A good dose of penetrating oil would get them moving; then perhaps some waterproof grease for longer term treatment? But replacement with galvanised hinges would be better.

Lump of wood inside and drive longer screws through

next size hinge up move the hinge about 12mm to the side and up so the screw holes sit fully in the timber frame[line off nails]
and oil the hinge every autumn
