Hi
I have a Boilermate 2000 with an electro mechanical clock timer (4 years old approx). This doesn't allow for 7 day, different on/off times. Can I replace the thermostat downstairs with a new programmable timer thermostat?
This would mean that the boiler is always on upstairs but that I could set different temps at different times of the day and different temps and times at the weekend. It seems too simple, have I missed something or is it as simple as that???
Thanks from Mike in Mansfield
PS. Is anyone else fed up with turkey............. :D

Yes no problems with this and leaving the boilermate one on constant.

It's the first thing I done when I moved into my current house ;)
