My inhibitor hasn't been checked/renewed for many years now, so I'd like to top up my system via the f/e tank in the loft. Can I just tip in half a container of Fernox without doing any draining down? In other words, is the concentration really that crucial and would the Fernox mix in eventually? My neighbour said that his plumber took a few jugfulls of liquid from his f/e tank and then topped up to the required level with Fernox - this sounds a bit dodgy to me but I'll give it a go if you chaps reckon it's kosher.
