Fernox Treatment Help Please

Hi,
I had to drain down my Powermax 185 boiler store the other day, and now want to descale and inhibit the system to hopefully prolong the life of the boiler.

I have a tank in the loft which feeds the boiler store, do I simply add Fernox descaling treatment to the tank, and then re-drain the system in about a weeks time, and then add the Fernox inhibitor afterwards directly to the tank ????

What products do you suggest I use - are Fernox the best ?

good as any

drain the tank add the cleaner refill tank

same again with inhibitor but make sure you give the system a good flush first

i usually do at least 2 drains and refills and run for 10 mins or so in between

Thanks for the reply. Do I add the treatments to the tank in the loft though or through the radiator ?????
