REPRESSURISING THE PRESSURE VESSEL question

im trying to repressure my pressure vessel on my 28i junoir and when i pump air via the valve up ontop of my combi i get a air comeing out of my combis pump is this right or am i doing somthing wrong?

Yes it would happen as the bladder pushes on system water which displaces air which comes out of the auto air vent in pump block.

It doesn't however imply that your EV is satisfactory. To test for that prior to depressurising system depress pin in middle like on a tyre and expect air to emerge if water emerges new EV required. If nothing repressurise
then apply test again to ensure air not water comes out.
 
I advise removing ALL air from the EXV if the valve is at the top in case there is some water as that will only come out last.

If the valve is at the bottom then you only have to let a little air come out.

See FAQ and make sure you pressurise with the system open to atmosphere.
