I had a problem with my combi boiler and someone said to check if there was water in my pressure vessel, so i pushed in the valve on the side of the vessel and nothing came out. Now im worried i might have released the air that was in there. What is the best way to test this and what should the pressure be? Is there a special pressure gauge or is a foot pump gauge acurate enogh??

You can use a tyre pressure gauge, I wouldnt recommend the one on a foot pump as they are usually inaccurate. Set the pressure to 0.5 to 0.8 bar. Do it with the boiler pressure gauge at zero. Repressurise the boiler to 0,7 to 1 bar when cold.
