Hi there
I've got a 22mm pipe that runs from the airing cupboard to a drain off outside for the hot water cylinder.
Soon I want to get a combi fitted in this cupboard and for the gas supply to this cupboard I was wondering if this pipe could be used instead of running a new pipe. This pipe runs under the upstairs floor and drops down the void beside the chimney brest then off to a point outside under the downstairs suspended floor. It passes the actual 22mm gas supply which is piped up to the good old bermuda back boiler so physically connecting it would be a doddle.
PS
Both the gas pipe to the back boiler and the tank pipe are both stainless steel (1970s) oh and the pipe will have had standing water in it since the 70s.
Many thanks for any input
Regards
