Resetting an SL Compact

Hi, I have just posted a reply on another thread but it was quite old - not sure if they archive them at all (sorry if this is wrong, I'm a bit new to forums)

So I have an SL Compact alarm in my home. Been here for a few years and never used the alarm as I don't know the codes - they weren't supplied with the house. We've had a few break in's locally of late and a want to get the alarm working but it's mighty expensive to get an engineer out.

I have the fuse out at the moment to stop it going off every time theres a power failure (no codes meens I can't reset the alarm!).

Could anybody give me any advice/step-by-step instructions as to how to reset the alarm.

Apologies in advance as I'm not the most DIY type person!!
