Reson8 Bell Box with 4 wire feed

I have just ordered a Accenta G4 control panel and a Reson8 bell box to update my current security system which has a faulty control panel.

The Reson8 bell box indicates a requirement for 5 wires however the existing cable from the control box position to the outside bell box position is 4 core and is built in so it would be extremely difficult to replace or to run a new 6 core wire.

If I use the existing 4 core cable is it OK to connect the strobe terminal (STB) directly to the bell trigger terminal (TRIG) on the Reson8 terminal strip.

However due to the extra loading on the bell panel output, i'd suggest running it through a relay.
