Restoring laminate/engineered wood.

I have a place which has a laminate type/engineered wood (not sure) flooring fitted which looks quite dull at the moment even after cleaning. It's a dark walnut colour. Is there any product that can be applied that will bring up a little shine to it and mask scratches? Nothing glossy just satin.

If not am I looking at a new floor/carpet?
