i recently had an issue with a rad in my spare room (see plumbing under replacing floor pipe if u want to laugh). but during putting this right i had to roll back carpet, when i did, i noticed the original floor boards are in very good condition. so this lead to the following questions.....

1. HOW DO I GO ABOUT RESTORING THESE ORIGINAL FLOORBOARDS???
2. IS IT STRICTLY A JOB FOR THE PROS
3. HOW LONG DOES IT TYPICALLY TAKE
4. AVERAGE PRICE FOR DIY VS AVERAGE PRICE FOR PROS

ROOM SIZE = 3.47m x 3.34m. With a protruding chimney breast

im a novice so all help is good help (within reason )

THANKS,
