Ride on mower maintenance

Good point......there should be a pool of oil visible though as there is a small tank on the top of the Tufftorq - I don’t think that’s been mentioned?
I’ve always found these transmissions to be brim full of oil.
Hopefully it will self bleed, rear wheels up in the air and the selector pedal moved from forward to reverse.
I don’t recall a switch on the hydro system but my machine is ancient!

Thank you Burnerman and LostintheLight, I appreciate your input. I shall bypass all the switches temporarily to test that and as for the Hydro, never having had one I will investigate the freewheel switch. I may have moved it inadvertently and forgotten I've even done it! It may be a couple of days but I will report back and let you know how I get on. Thanks again.

Hmmm OK, that gives me another option. I'll track that down too and inspect it. I do like tinkering with stuff ... but the grass is getting long! Thanks again John.
