Ridge Tiling

Hi All
Building an extension at the moment and going to start tiling soon. My roof is made up of trusses which do not have a ridge beam and i am not too sure how i am going to fit the ridge tiles onto the top. Its battened and felted (breathable) and when the tiles reach the top do the ridge tiles just sit up there (cemented in) or should i be looking at some sort of dry ridge effort here?

All of the dry ridge things i have seen appear to require a ridge beam of some sort to connect it all together.

Not too sure what i should be looking for here. Any advice?

Dry fix kits usually come with the required brackets for truss roofs . The instructions are clear. It's simple.
Mortar bedding requires a bit of skill to do it reliably and neatly.
BC will expect mechanical fixing ..

I used the klober kit on mine and added 2 battens right at the top point above the top tile course then another central batten sat on top/between them, to form a ridge, to give your continuous fixing point.

OK, i have the dry ridge kit/s now. Next problem is which tiles do i get. I always thought that it was Half Round on the Ridge and then Third Round on the Hips? I this correct? I have also bought a Redland Ridge Hip Junction piece to hopefully make this easier but will not be easy if my combo of Half Round/Third Round tiles is incorrect.

Also dont understand how many battens heights i need to put down, does anyone know to what level i will trying to get to here? ie the underside of the Ridge/Hip tile OR the bottom of the hip tray without it bending.
