Ridiculous B&Q

I sometimes look at prices on both Screwfix and B&Q.

Mostly the former is cheaper. But sometimes the latter is.

So I look tonight at a sledgehammer. 6.3kg Magnusson at SF is 26.

Can't find a 6.3kg one at BQ but I do find this.....

Who the F measures sledge weights in Oz?

Magnusson is a brand registered to bricodepot in France. French call hammers Marteau américain. So they use American weights for those.

Bit strange as that would be a 3kg masse in France.

I have a theory they're just making it difficult to compare prices between themselves and SF.
